Lauderdale, Florida (A College of Professional Studies). I also studied with the New York Institute of Photography. After almost two decades in The Bahamas' Diplomatic Service, I retired as Consul General and currently reside with his wife Jennifer in South Florida. I am an alumnus of The Catholic University of America, Washington DC., and of the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida. Although my passion for Flower Photography has roots in Washington DC during the mid 80's, my fascination became more intense with my wife's developing interest in her beloved Orchids in the early 90's. When I lived in Washington DC years ago, one of my preferred hangouts was the National Botanical Gardens. It is the oldest Public Garden in the U.S. Capital and is home to thousands of species of plants. This is where it all began. I had never seen so much beauty assembled in one place ...... ever. Since then, I became fascinated with the quiet expression and regal nature of Flowers and how, by their simple existence, they arouse such profound feelings and thoughts in people. Enough about flowers. As you can see from this display, I also enjoy shooting an array of subjet matters. wdmunnings429's BlogNo blog posted yet. Submit your own blog now! I really like the assortment of color in the Roadside Farmers Market. Nothing is more refreshing than fresh produce. This picture is set up great, gives the eye alot to look at and full of detail.
